Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our client's team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with site standards, procedures, and customer requirements.

Key Tasks:
  • To monitor and verify product compliance with legislative and customer specifications, including temperature, contamination, labelling, weight, and packaging.
  • To support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that outgoing products meet required standards and are fully traceable.
  • To conduct label checks to confirm accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • To perform quality checks and sampling in line with the site's H.A.C.C.P plan and customer-specific requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a technical or quality assurance role within food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, H.A.C.C.P principles, and food safety legislation.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification required, Level 3 preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across teams.
Estimated Salary:

£28k - £32k per annum
