Site Construction Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Technical Coordination: Oversee the installation of structural elements, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and designs. Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are on track, on schedule, and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections, monitoring compliance with designs, codes, and industry standards. Document findings and communicate with stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Site Supervision: Work closely with project teams to maintain site records, provide regular updates to project management, and produce detailed reports on project progress and quality. Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly, optimizing productivity while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and client representatives, to address technical queries and maintain smooth operations. Provide clear and concise information on project progress and quality.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly, optimizing productivity while adhering to safety guidelines. Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, providing regular updates to project management and producing detailed reports on project progress and quality.
- Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Structural Engineering: Possess a solid background in engineering for major structures, such as bridges, viaducts, or tunnels. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Educational Background: Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). Possess a CSCS card and have a thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards specific to structural projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Be competent in surveying, CAD, and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications. Possess strong technical skills and the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders. Be able to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Health & Safety: Possess a thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards specific to structural projects. Be able to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
