Job Title: Community Healthcare Podiatrist - Leadership Role

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to lead our community healthcare team. As a Community Healthcare Podiatrist - Leadership Role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-risk wound care services across West Hertfordshire, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • To lead and manage a team of Podiatrists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and outcomes.
  • To contribute to the development of our service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service delivery.

This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
  • BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior to 1991).
  • Evidence of continual professional and personal development portfolio.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia.
  • Postgraduate courses/Education in Advanced Podiatric Practice/Diabetic Foot Module.
