Job Title: Advanced Foot Health Care Professional

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Podiatrist to join our team as an Advanced Foot Health Care Professional. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic NHS environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-risk wound care services across West Hertfordshire, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Leading and managing a team of Podiatrists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development of our service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service delivery.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
  • BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior to 1991).
  • Evidence of continual professional and personal development portfolio.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia.
  • Postgraduate courses/Education in Advanced Podiatric Practice/Diabetic Foot Module.
