Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to join our team at Agricultural and Farming Jobs Agency. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our service business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of our service department, ensuring efficient scheduling, work processing, and timely service delivery.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of technicians, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
  • Warranty Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to warranty policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Out-of-Hours Coverage: Manage out-of-hours and holiday service coverage, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Talent Development: Recruit and develop technicians, maintaining strong relationships with local agricultural colleges and industry partners.
  • Health and Safety: Actively participate in the Health and Safety committee, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Branch Representation: Represent our organization professionally, ensuring a positive and motivated atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Service Management Experience: Proven experience in service management or workshop foreman roles, with a strong understanding of agricultural and farming industry practices.
  • Agricultural Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of agricultural and farming industry practices, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local agricultural community and industry partners.
  • Self-Motivation and Interpersonal Skills: Strong self-motivation, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
