Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as well as being comfortable working at heights.

A salary of £24,000 - £27,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.
  2. Sanitizing public areas, surgeries, and office spaces daily.
  3. Sweeping, hoovering, and mopping floors.
  4. Dusting surfaces, countertops, and light fittings.
  5. Cleaning kitchen and communal areas.
  6. Washing up.
  7. Emptying bins and disposing of refuse into relevant waste locations.
  8. Cleaning, disinfecting, and replenishing supplies in restrooms.
  9. Cleaning windows internally.
  10. Maintaining areas outside of the practice front to ensure rubbish is removed and the practice front looks clean and tidy.
  11. Reporting to the line manager when products and stock are running low so orders can be placed.
  12. Notifying line managers of the need for repairs or replacement equipment.
  13. Compliance with practice cleaning checklist/schedule.
  14. Adhering to relevant COSHH and HACCP guidelines and the safe handling of chemicals and products.
  15. Adhering to relevant risk assessments.
