Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Technical in Daventry. This role involves providing both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our production facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering. Additionally, CNC machine tool experience is advantageous.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing reactive and planned maintenance to ensure optimal production levels
  • Working on a variety of fast-moving and automated machinery
  • Being involved in project work to improve plant efficiency
  • Mechanical fault finding ability
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
  • Working on PLC-controlled machinery

Requirements:

  • Maintenance engineering experience
  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • CNC machine tool experience - advantageous
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
  • Automotive production experience - advantageous
