Care and Support Professional

We are seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our team as a full-time Care and Support Professional in Derbyshire. This role offers great work-life balance with regular set shift patterns across a 7-day working week, providing opportunities to learn and progress with the support of our Quality Matters team.

This position is based at Woodville Residential Home, which provides dignified support to 46 residents living with various health conditions and mental health needs. As a Care and Support Professional, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. While prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable, it is not essential as full training is provided.

The estimated salary for this role is £11.00 per hour dependent upon qualification level, plus opportunities to earn more through our Refer a Friend scheme. You will also receive fully funded DBS and a comprehensive Holiday Pay scheme that rewards your commitment to care.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene and daily activities
  • Supporting residents with mealtime routines and maintaining good nutrition and hydration
  • Encouraging residents to mobilize safely around the home
  • Providing friendship and companionship, and accompanying residents on social outings or appointments
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing documentation
  • Working collaboratively with other care professionals to promote the health and well-being of our residents
