Job Description

Operating Department Practitioner \/ Theatres Bank Staff Nurse

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Operating Department Practitioner / Theatres Staff Nurse to join our team at Fulwood Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in acute surgical care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care in the operating department.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with theatre staff, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • ODP level 3 qualification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
