Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training Programme Director to join our team in the West Midlands region. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for coordinating training programmes across the region, ensuring national standards are implemented locally.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training programmes across the West Midlands region
  • Implement national standards determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC, and NHS-E WT&E locally
  • Work with the Head of School to produce doctors who strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care
  • Ensure that local systems and providers can improve the health of their people and patients, and reduce health inequalities
Requirements
  • Currently working within the West Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent (SAS doctors in the specialty school area)
  • Experience within the specialty at consultant or SAS doctor level is essential
  • Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £38,700 per year, plus a contribution towards the overall cost of £10,000 per PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to improving healthcare outcomes in the West Midlands region.
