Job Title: Senior Contract Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Officer to join our team at Fife Council. As a Senior Contract Officer, you will play a key role in promoting children's learning, development, and welfare within a nursery context.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading on aspects of teamwork within the nursery to ensure positive outcomes for all children and young people.
  • Communicating with other stakeholders and contributing to and leading on wider development within the nursery, where appropriate.
  • Promoting children's learning, development, and welfare within a nursery context.
  • Ensuring inclusion, diversity, and equality in all aspects of nursery life.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A practitioner level qualification (or equivalent) such as HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People.
  • Experience of working with young children in a formal setting.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • A working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the ambition, and child development from birth to 5 years.
