Widener University is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Academic Education Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and a doctoral degree from an accredited college or university. With a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, including supervision of Level I and Level II fieldwork students, you will possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to mentor students effectively.

Your responsibilities will include administering and overseeing the fieldwork component of our OTD Program, collecting and reporting pertinent fieldwork data, and providing guidance and support to fieldwork educators and students. You will also participate in curriculum development, teach courses on campus and online, and serve as a resource person for the fieldwork education community.

Requirements
  • Graduated with a degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Earned doctoral degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in occupational therapy including supervision of Level I and Level II fieldwork students
  • Teaching/academic experience (Two years' experience preferred)
