Radiology MDT Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology MDT Coordinator to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Imaging team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth management of target cancer pathway Radiology referrals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Actively tracking all Target requests referred to the Radiology department, ensuring all Target orders are vetted, booked, and reported in the required timeframes.
  • Working in a team environment to provide support and advice to other clerical staff as necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with CW/WM staff at all levels and liaising with offsite staff and other tertiary health providers to ensure the required data is collected and reported according to national and local deadlines.
  • Monitoring and recording the outcomes at each stage in the patient's journey, with particular reference to pathway tracking and collection of national cancer datasets.

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of Radiology referrals, working closely with diagnostic and clinical services to provide high-quality care to cancer patients. Your excellent organizational and administrative skills, combined with your ability to work under pressure and meet regular deadlines, will be essential in this role.

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual who is able to act on their own initiative and demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to the role. If you have experience of handling highly sensitive information and are able to communicate effectively with all grades of staff, we would love to hear from you.
