Job Description

This position reports to the Head of Software Engineering and is based in Banbury, UK. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the continuous delivery of in-house software according to the department's development plan.

You will work within the Performance Group to deliver high-quality software for use across the group. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing code reviews and coaching to other members of the software team.
  • Working with other software engineers to ensure delivery of projects according to specifications, reporting regularly on any challenges or potential delays.
  • Staying up-to-date with new techniques and proposing new languages and tools as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in modern software engineering techniques and a minimum BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of professional software development experience.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including:

Please note that this position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting, and manual dexterity. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
