About the Job

We are seeking a committed Supportive Learning Coach to join our team at an energetic school environment. The successful candidate will support children with SEMH needs in an inclusion unit at the school, helping to create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Your Role

  • Assist a teacher with managing the classroom and student behavior
  • Evaluate potential risks to ensure children's safety and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and take initiative
  • Apply knowledge of the curriculum in your daily activities
  • Communicate clearly with both children and adults, orally and in writing

Requirements

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Possess empathy, patience, and a caring nature, with insight into children's unique needs
  • Have a solid understanding of sensory processing issues and communication challenges
  • Excel at building meaningful relationships with children
  • Be adaptable and able to work both independently and within a team

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
