Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our dispatch operations and contribute to our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that our hubs meet company core route optimization and depot clear achieved daily.
  • Leadership & Communication: Oversee hub operations with a focus on Health & Safety, productivity, and cost management. Maintain open lines of communication across all levels of the business, from riders to executives.
  • Team Management: Quickly respond to staffing needs, particularly in the event of employee absences, ensuring the hub remains fully operational.
  • Service Excellence: Support the depot in delivering exceptional service to customers while meeting challenging KPIs related to cost, productivity, and transport.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all operations comply with company and legislative standards, focusing on Health & Safety.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and successfully implement changes to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries, with a proven ability to manage fast-paced operations.
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills, with a track record of motivating high-performing teams.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to analyse data and suggest enhancements.
  • Communication: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence strategy and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Dependability: Reliable, diligent, and able to remain composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and from various hubs across London when required.
