Job Description

We seek an experienced SEND Teacher with a primary specialism to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND and complex needs.

You will foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, collaborate with staff and external professionals to develop personalized learning plans, and regularly assess and monitor students' progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with primary-aged students with SEND, preferably in a special school or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of various SEND conditions and effective strategies to support students' learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • A patient, empathetic, and passionate approach to teaching students with SEND.
