About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Territory Development Manager to join our team in the South East UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take on a challenging role and drive business growth.

Job Description

  • To manage a sales territory that includes Key, Pharma, Biotechs, Hospitals, and Academic Accounts.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, which will be a mix of instrument unit sales and overall revenue for the territory.
  • Work with Applications Consultants and Support Personnel to plan and execute demonstrations and participate in pre- and post-sales qualifications.
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts at all levels.
  • Explore market potential for automation applications in new or diverse subject areas, including complex multi-instrument projects.
  • Liaise with our Switzerland office for the management and execution of complex sales.
  • Organize exhibitions and customer demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Hamilton Robotics Ltd. effectively in the market place.
  • Act with integrity and diligence in executing duties.
  • Maintain a CRM system up-to-date with Customer Database, Product Information, Opportunities, and Project Tracking.
  • Foster regular contact with existing and new customers.
  • Stay informed about key issues and market potential within the territory, with regular action plans and lead generation.
  • Host workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and mailings to develop sales opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on competitive strategies, service quality, product usability, etc.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge about competitors' products and services.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Science field and a willingness to learn new subjects as required.
  • Previous experience in automation support and sales is advantageous.
  • High negotiation skills with procurement and end-users.
  • Strong IT literacy and scientific knowledge related to our market segment.
  • A customer-centric attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proven interpersonal and team skills.
  • Experience in consultative solution selling.
  • Knowledge of existing and potential customer base.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated individual with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
