About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at ICTS Europe. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our client site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control Management: Manage access control for buildings and car-parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Patrolling and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • ID Verification: Check and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Alarm Response: De-activate and activate alarms, and unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to ensure that no unauthorized personnel or hazards are on site.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and report Health & Safety issues and carry out first aid if necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records, including incident reports, using computer- and paper-based systems.
Requirements
  • Security Qualifications: Hold an SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Pressure Management: Be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Experience: Have experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
  • IT Skills: Possess good IT and administration skills.
  • Criminal Record Check: Be able to pass a criminal records check to the required standards.
Desirable Qualifications
  • First Aid at Work: Hold a First Aid at Work qualification.
  • SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence: Hold an SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence.
