About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance and Improvement Manager to join our team at Hammersmith and Fulham Council. As a key member of our Adult Social Care department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our performance and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Leadership: Develop and deliver a robust performance management framework for Adult Social Care, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Design and implement strategies for continuous improvement within Adult Social Care services, including preparation for CQC inspections and statutory assessments.
  • Data & Reporting: Provide timely, evidence-based analysis and reports for senior management, ensuring all accountability requirements are met.
  • Strategy Development: Lead on the development of departmental strategies, policies, and procedures, including performance frameworks and service planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies and service users.
  • Learning & Development: Promote a learning culture within the department, ensuring that training programs meet practitioners' needs and contribute to the improvement of service standards.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in performance management and improvement, ideally within adult social care or a related public service environment. You will have experience in leading complex projects, providing strategic direction, and using data-driven insights to inform policy and decision-making.

You will also need:

  • Proven experience in performance management, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements in adult social care.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • A track record of successfully managing change and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
