About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Performance and Improvement Manager within the Adult Social Care department at Hammersmith and Fulham Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a robust Adult Social Care performance management framework, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management, including the Director, Assistant Directors, and Heads of Service.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement within Adult Social Care services, including preparation for CQC inspections, peer reviews, and statutory assessments.
  • Provide timely, evidence-based analysis and reports for senior management, ensuring all accountability requirements are met.
  • Lead on the development of departmental strategies, policies, and procedures, including performance frameworks, equalities strategies, and service planning.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, regional groups, and service users.
  • Promote a learning culture within the department, ensuring that training programs meet practitioners' needs and contribute to the improvement of service standards.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in performance management and improvement, ideally within adult social care or a related public service environment.

You will be experienced in leading complex projects, providing strategic direction, and using data-driven insights to inform policy and decision-making.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in performance management, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements in adult social care.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • A track record of successfully managing change and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
