About the Role

Capita's HR Solutions business is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide high-quality HR support to clients in the UK's schools and Multi Academy Trusts (MATs). As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of professional HR services, including employment legislation and statutory regulations, policies and procedures, and client contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely remote HR services, responding to telephone and email enquiries and supporting HR cases.
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach in the provision of services to support client retention.
  • Work closely with allocated client groups to build relationships, ascertain their business requirements, and work with them to achieve.
  • Ensure client retention through effective relationship management and identify opportunities to develop and grow the business.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the HR function, supporting colleagues and teams when required.

Requirements

  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR.
  • HR-related Qualification/Accreditation/willing to work towards.
  • A background of providing HR support in a schools/education environment.
  • Experience of providing quality advice and guidance on high-risk HR casework.
  • The ability to manage a varied workload.
  • An up-to-date knowledge, understanding, and practical application of employment legislation and issues, including diversity in employment.
  • A proven track record in handling difficult and sensitive redundancy, discipline, capability, and grievance casework.
