Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a skilled Fuel Farm Mechanic to join our team. As a Fuel Farm Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fuel farm equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with fuel farm equipment using test equipment, statistics, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fuel farm equipment, including pumps, valves, and vessels.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Support the Gauger position as needed.
  • Comply with attendance policies and work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Safety, Security, and Compliance

All employees have a responsibility to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others while at work. This includes being fully versed in International Aviation Safety and Security standards and promoting them within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment tests, including a drug test.
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs continuously.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Must have a current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily done outdoors and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions.
