Description

Menzies Aviation is seeking an experienced Fuel Farm Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of liquid fuels at our aviation fuel farm.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of fuel storage tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Perform routine and periodic maintenance on fuel systems and equipment, including filters, pumps, valves, and metering and gauging equipment
  • Monitor and record fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with Quality Control Technicians to investigate and resolve quality control issues
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as aviation fuel handling or equipment maintenance
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 70lbs
