About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a Railway Asset Management Lead. In this role, you will lead and direct the Engineering team in delivering inspection, maintenance, and project-related works for all Infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the annual maintenance business plan, prioritizing work correctly and managing volumes delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Managing the engineering team to deliver holistic asset management, identifying deterioration rates, effectiveness of maintenance intervention, and optimal renewal timescales to reduce overall asset costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with the management assurance process, identifying non-compliance risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Developing and managing the engineering team to deliver health and safety goals, monitoring staff safety, training, and competence. Promote culture change and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires a Chartered Engineer with experience in maintenance management, processes, and techniques. Essential skills include knowledge of compliance management processes, operational railway environment, and CDM regulations. Proven interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organization skills are also necessary.

Benefits
