Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Epidemiologist to help expand UK Biobank's ability to curate and interpret complex molecular assay data. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the integration and research use of newly generated molecular assay data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver assay-based resource enhancements, and contributing to the development of new research methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the integration and research use of newly generated molecular assay data
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver assay-based resource enhancements
  • Contribute to the development of new research methodologies

Requirements

  • Higher degree (e.g. MSc/PhD) in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject
  • Significant relevant experience in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject
  • Excellent understanding of epidemiological studies and methods for large-scale analysis of molecular data
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present research proposals and results
