Epidemiologist - UK Biobank Researcher

Research Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Epidemiologist to contribute to the expansion of UK Biobank's molecular assay data capabilities and participate in a research program demonstrating the scientific value of large-scale sample data analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and utilizing newly generated molecular assay data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance assay-based resources, and developing new research methodologies. To be considered, applicants must hold a higher degree in epidemiology, statistics, or a related field, possess significant relevant experience, and have excellent communication skills, including the ability to present research proposals and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the integration and research use of molecular assay data
- Liaise with stakeholders to deliver assay-based resource enhancements
- Develop and adapt research methodologies
- Contribute to research project ideas
Requirements
- Higher degree in epidemiology, statistics, or a related field
- Significant relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
