They will also contribute to improving HR services and work collaboratively with the HR Services Manager to achieve service aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide scope of work practices, including routine support activities and managing inboxes and queries.
  • Escalate HR issues and contribute to improving HR services.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Services Manager to achieve service aims and objectives.
  • Develop procedures and legislation, and work with internal and external stakeholders to recruit.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and conduct 1:1s with direct reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working in a similar position within the public sector, with a strong HR generalist background and the ability to lead and be hands-on. They will also have CIPD Level 5 and experience in using HR Systems, ideally iTrent.
