About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our charity's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, providing personalized service and promoting our charity's mission
  • Organize and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximize sales potential
  • Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to drive online sales
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and responding to customer inquiries
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience is not essential, but a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and guide the activity of volunteers on the shop floor
  • Confidence in using technology, including tills, PCs, smartphones, and email
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Positive, creative, and confident attitude, with a focus on customer service and sustainability
