CNC Laser Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled CNC Laser Engineer to join our client's team. Our client has been a leading supplier of manufacturing systems to various industries for over 70 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and service a range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the use and maintenance of these machines.
  • Perform fault-finding and repair of manufacturing machinery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Collect and deliver machines and spare parts as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance of Halifax.
  • Willingness to stay away from home for up to 2-3 nights per week, Monday to Thursday.
  • A recognized electrical qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving, particularly with CO2 laser cutting for non-metal materials and laser machines for metal cutting, is highly desirable.
