We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the preparation, processing, and administration of monthly payrolls, ensuring that all timescales are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the completion of monthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Responsible for the preparation, processing, and administration of monthly payroll, including new starters, leavers, transfers, amendments, and pensions.
- Process court orders and statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity, parental leave, and SSP.
- Administer various company pension schemes, including NHS and defined contribution schemes.
- Set up new employees and manage employee changes in the time-keeping system.
- Responsible for checking payslips and reports at payroll validation, rectifying identified issues.
- Action and input all legislative documents for payroll, including P6, P45, P46, court orders, tax credits, and student loans.
- Take ownership of the annual P11D reporting exercise.
- Ensure End of Year P60 Statement of Earnings are processed and distributed by the statutory deadline.
- Issue ad-hoc letters, requiring a high level of literacy and written communication.
- Provide first-line payroll support for employees and line managers.
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries, responding to employees in a courteous and informative manner, aligned with Company values.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
