As an Equine Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our equine patients. You will assist the Yard Assistant team in daily horse care, handle horses during procedures, and maintain examination room cleanliness and supplies. Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Assist the Yard Assistant team in daily horse care, including mucking out, yard cleanliness, and coordinating admissions/discharge.
  • Handle horses during procedures, maintain examination room cleanliness and supplies, and collaborate with veterinarians.


Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as an Equine Care Assistant, you must have hands-on experience working with various horse types, including thoroughbreds. A strong commitment to equine welfare and teamwork is essential. You will work 40 hours a week across various shifts, including a 1:5 weekend rota, and benefit from a competitive salary of up to £23,877, plus 6.6 weeks annual leave, additional birthday leave, and enhanced family-friendly policies.
