Job Overview

The Senior Bioinformatician role involves designing, developing, and maintaining bioinformatic tools and pipelines.

You will support the creation of web-based bioinformatics databases for analysis and lead and organise projects, collaborating with project members and presenting updates to stakeholders and the wider business.

This position requires at least 2 years of industrial experience in bioinformatics, strong Python programming ability, and experience with Python testing frameworks.

Proficiency in analysing next-generation sequencing data and experience with SQL Databases, such as PostgreSQL, are also essential.

Please note that we require candidates to have a strong understanding of bioinformatics principles and practices.
