About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Community Care and Recovery Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults with mental health difficulties in the community and contribute to the Transformation of our Community Services in BSMHFT as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessment and individual and group-based treatment to clients with complex difficulties across adult secondary or tertiary care settings.
- Work closely with multi-professional teams to support the Transformation of our Community Services in BSMHFT as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.
- Develop and implement interventions appropriate for use with complex presenting problems.
- Contribute to service development, leadership, and supervision within the team.
Person Specification
- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
- Significant post qualification experience of specialist psychological assessment and individual and group-based treatment of clients with complex difficulties across adult secondary or tertiary care settings.
- Experience working in Adult Secondary or Tertiary Mental Health services.
- Skills in formulation of problems from a psychological perspective and implementation of interventions appropriate for use with complex presenting problems.
- Ability to interact with and to build and sustain relationships with people with mental health difficulties.
- Experience of working closely with others in an MDT setting.
