Job Overview: As a PMLD Teacher (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and care to our students.

Your primary responsibility will be to create customized learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of our students, enabling them to thrive and succeed.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to deliver a comprehensive approach to education and care.
  • Design and implement engaging, interactive, and sensory-rich learning activities.
  • Keep accurate records of students' progress and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, including EHCP reviews.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse needs of each learner.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have proven experience working with students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) or severe learning difficulties (SLD).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of differentiated teaching approaches and alternative communication strategies.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
