Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

As a Healthcare Chaplaincy Professional, you will work within our Chaplaincy Team, delivering pastoral and spiritual care to patients, relatives, and staff across both Eastern and Northern services. You will be part of a small, diverse team working towards the 'CRISPER' model of care.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing spiritual support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Developing and implementing spiritual care plans

You will have flexibility in your working pattern, with occasional days off for annual leave and evening on-call shifts from home.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of healthcare and spiritual care principles
  • Previous chaplaincy experience, preferably within the NHS
  • Familiarity with the 'CRISPER' model of care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
