Insurance Sales Team Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Sales Team Lead to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives and Development Executives in implementing regional sales and retention strategies.
You will be required to motivate, guide, and coach your team to drive growth through improved retention, cross-sales, or new client sales, contributing to Branch and Regional P&L targets. You will have overall accountability for the performance of your team and provide them with development plans, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, effective leadership of the Account Executive/Development Executive team, providing direction and guidance to meet targets.
- Constantly review the market and relevant sectors to understand new opportunities, performance against competitors, and provide the team with clear advice and direction.
- Lead and support the team to deliver the best customer outcomes, meeting all Consumer Duty requirements, while working collaboratively with your Branch Director to achieve financial targets.
- Lead on all aspects of risk management, implementing plans to ensure every colleague meets risk and quality assurance requirements.
- Work in collaboration with your Branch Director to highlight potential barriers to retention or new sales and promote opportunities for business growth.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing teams to deliver revenue targets within a regulatory framework.
- Demonstrable experience in a management role within insurance and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line performance and growth, organically and inorganically.
- Proven track record of improving business performance, income, and employee engagement within a regulated environment.
- Significant, proven experience of managing a P&L Budget.
- Experience of managing client relationships.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams and stakeholders across the business at all levels.
- People management skills, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and guiding others.
