Job Overview

Job Description
As a Lead Veterinary Clinician, you will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will also conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff is essential to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Additionally, you will provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness, maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is also crucial.
