Part-time Food Technology Teacher Vacancy

Principal Resourcing is seeking a part-time Food Technology Teacher to join our team at a secondary academy in North East Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Curriculum Delivery: Teach the Food, Cookery and Nutrition curriculum across the age and ability range.
    • Department Development: Develop a motivating learning environment that promotes the identity of the department and celebrates student achievements.
    • Learning Design: Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that are tailored to meet the needs of all students, and that encourage students to strive for excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum, as well as relevant experience in the food industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Subject Knowledge: Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • Personal Qualities: Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject.
  • Certification: An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Work Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.

Salary and Benefits: Estimated salary £25,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
