Education Support Professional

We are recruiting dedicated Teachers or Tutors to join our team at The Education Network, providing tutoring services to looked after children (LAC) across North East Lincolnshire. As a Tutor, you will deliver personalized teaching sessions to help students who are in care overcome challenges and reach their academic goals.
Main Duties:- Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver tailored teaching and mentoring in core subjects like English, Maths, and Science, as well as other subjects as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with social workers, carers, and educational professionals to monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches.
- Exam Preparation and Study Skills: Prepare students for exams and help them develop essential study skills and strategies.
- Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), PTTLS, or relevant tutoring experience with at least an MA or PHD in a similar role.
- LAC Experience: Experience working with LAC or vulnerable young people is highly desirable.
- Personal Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.
- Certification: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Our estimated salary range for this role is £25-£35 per hour (PAYE).
