Job Overview:

Bristol Airport is seeking an Apprentice Engineer to join their Engineering team. As an Apprentice Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with and learning engineering and maintenance duties on Electrical and Mechanical systems.

About the Role:

  • You will assist with and learn the requirements & skills to undertake engineering and maintenance duties on Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • You will develop an understanding of the airport layout, functions, and assets through a process of continuous development, assessment, training, and development.
  • You will assist with and learn the requirements & skills needed for inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding activities on the Airfield Ground Lighting and associated systems, and other airfield installations as required to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • You will learn how to produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements for BRS Engineering activities.
  • You will work closely with and in accordance with BAL H&S policy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
