Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders and learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation to ensure that students are receiving a high-quality education.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- A competitive salary of £22,315.15 - £23,880.47 per annum (FTE £26,060 - £27,888.00)
- A flexible schedule of 36 hours per week, Term Time only (8.30am - 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday with 30 minute unpaid break)
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- A background in youth work or a related field, with experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience with behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, and restraint training would be an advantage
