London, Greater London, United Kingdom Eden Brown Synergy Full time

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our team of OTs in providing high-quality services to adults and adolescents with mental health issues. As Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of individual treatment plans, ensuring that treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively and efficiently.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You will report directly to the Therapy Lead and will be responsible for developing living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities for service users.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years post-qualifying experience, substantial experience of working within Mental Health, preferably with both CAMHS and Adult experience, and substantial experience of inpatient work.

You will need to be confident in the application of your OT skills and knowledge but also highly adaptable, able to tailor your intervention to the needs of our service users. The young people on the CAMHS wards often have complex backgrounds and co-morbid presentations, and it's essential that you are patient, sensitive, and determined to engage them in therapy.

Responsibilities
  1. Receiving and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
  2. Working to develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities under the strategic direction of the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team.
  3. Ensuring the effective and efficient management of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapist Assistants, and students.
What We Offer
  1. Annual salary of up to £52,000 depending on experience.
  2. The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) - plus your birthday off.
  3. Free meals and parking.
  4. Wellbeing support and activities to help you maintain a great work-life balance.
  5. Career development and training to help you achieve your career goals.
  6. Pension contribution to secure your future.
  7. Life Assurance for added peace of mind.
  8. Enhanced Maternity Package so you can truly enjoy this special time.
  9. We also offer a range of other benefits including retail discounts and special offers.
