About Us:

Greenwich Food Bank is a leading charity working to address food poverty in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We provide emergency food supplies to individuals and families in need, and work to tackle the root causes of hunger through community engagement and advocacy.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic fundraising team and contribute to our mission to end food poverty in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Fundraiser (Grants and Corporate), you will be responsible for securing grant funding and corporate partnerships to support our work. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop and submit winning funding proposals, and establish a fundraising portfolio capable of generating in excess of £700k per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and submit winning funding proposals to trusts, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Manage ongoing relationships with funders to secure repeat business and grow our portfolio
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to develop and implement fundraising plans

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of growing income and building relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to inspire and motivate funders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with ability to think creatively and outside the box
