As a key member of the Sisk Group, the Knowledge Management Coordinator will play a vital role in capturing and sharing knowledge across the organization. This position will involve developing case study content, administering the annual Research & Development (R&D) tax credit claim process, and maintaining a strong database for drawing insights from knowledge and R&D information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project staff to record good practice and learning, including identifying knowledge to capture, interviewing project staff, and writing up case studies.
  • Support the Lessons learned process, including tracking and writing up case studies identified through this process.
  • Coordinate the annual R&D claim process, including tracking progress, arranging meetings, and keeping good records of activity claimed and not claimed.
  • Support the Knowledge Management team to maintain the Knowledge Hub.

Qualifications
  • A strong capability with written English, evidenced through education and/or a role where writing reports, bids, or similar was a main responsibility.
  • An ability to simplify technical concepts for non-experts to understand.
  • Strong organizational and co-ordination skills.
  • A tenacious personality, with the ability to work with people who have other priorities and deliver output.
  • A strong capability and willingness to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Sisk geographies in Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

Progression
This role will provide the candidate with a grounding in the skills and challenges of knowledge management in a construction industry environment. Opportunities will be available to develop facilitation skills, learn about lessons learned programmes, and Lean techniques to support continuous improvement. The role will also allow the candidate to hone co-ordination and networking skills, with the potential to develop into a multi-faceted Knowledge Manager role.
