Patient Services Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Patient Services Supervisor to join our team at Eastgate Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our patient services, including leading a team of care navigators and ensuring the smooth delivery of services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the care navigation team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of patient services.
- Develop and implement team protocols, prioritizing task delegation and identifying task champions.
- Ensure effective communication on a day-to-day basis, managing the GP and nurse appointment system, and dealing with minor patient complaints and grumbles.
- Produce timely staff rotas, managing annual leave and cover arrangements, and ensuring practice policies and procedures are implemented.
- Take a continuous improvement approach, assessing systems and procedures in liaison with the Practice Manager.
- Coordinate, plan, and deliver the development of the team, including induction and training of new staff, protected time for learning (PTL) events, annual appraisals, and performance management discussions.

Person Specification:
- Essential:
- Business administration, NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Customer care.
- Data Protection Act.
- Desirable:
- Experience of clinical software EMIS Web/SystmOne/Vision.
