At SharkNinja, we are seeking an exceptional Category Lead to join our team. As a key member of our commercial leadership, you will be responsible for driving and optimizing the commercial performance of our portfolio of products under Shark-Ninja Brands.

Job Description

This role involves deeply analyzing market trends, sales performance, customer feedback, forecasts, and promotion calendars. You will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive weekly commercial reviews and actions. Your primary objective is to maximize category performance by defining product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence cross-functionally to achieve category objectives. A 7+ years of experience in category or commercial management is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize category performance.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to guide new SKU introductions and discontinuations.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly category performance reviews and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance supply with demand and minimize obsolescence.
  • Develop and oversee long-term and short-term promotional plans to drive category sales and profitability.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in category or commercial management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any detail.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Problem-solving and initiative.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
