Career Overview:

This role involves providing high-quality care to children and young people, developing secure relationships, implementing care plans, and fulfilling health, education, and training needs. You will engage children in developmentally appropriate activities and collaborate with professionals to support their needs.

About the Role:

This full-time position requires occasional overnights and a 40-hour workweek. We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, plus additional shifts paid at £50 each. A UK driving license is required, and a relevant qualification such as an NVQ Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Fulfill health, education, and training needs of children.
  • Implement care plans and monitor progress.
  • Engage children in meaningful activities promoting development and well-being.
