Advanced Speech Therapist for Acute and Community Care

**Job Description**
Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment Careers is seeking an experienced Advanced Speech Therapist for Acute and Community Care to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to adults across various settings, including acute hospitals, rehabilitation centers, continuing care facilities, and community environments.
You will manage a clinical caseload of adults with speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing difficulties, providing specialist services that meet the unique needs of each individual. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing effective care pathways that improve patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Contribute to research, audit, and service development initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree or higher in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
- Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) as a registered practitioner.
- Experience working with adults with complex communication and swallowing needs.
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
