Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Bupa, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work closely with the nursing team to provide clinical, social, and emotional support to our residents, recognising and meeting their specific needs.
The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, and be willing to learn and develop their skills in our digital care system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with daily activities, such as personal care, meal times, and social activities
- Supporting residents with mobility issues, including transfers and hoisting
- Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes to the nurse or senior care assistant
- Communicating effectively with residents' families and friends, keeping them informed of their loved one's care and progress
